Its virtue signaling: "Look at me, I have so much empathy and so I love the trans people and want to protect them" who the H are they speaking to? Themselves? Selfish! The lack of trust, awareness and wisdom is all over the board.
It begs the question. Why are so many adults going along with this, playing make believe?
Is it as simple as a desire to demonstrate that they are so good that they can lie about reality? Is it fear of being called, or even thought of as, a bigot if they reveal the truth?
If so, these people are self-centered cowards. Makes sense to me.
