If I were a parent today, with a teen or child questioning their gender, or curious about trans identities and transitioning, I’d be completely unprepared for what I would be about to find out. When our daughter clammed-up and refused to talk with us, she was already being groomed behind our backs. Two parents, both representing the outmoded sex binary are obviously no good as role models, so we had to be erased publicly, while she went in search of her adoptive queer family, aided and abetted by a top LGBTQ+ Mentor - probably everyone’s idea of a “good” role model in fact. Our daughter is the victim in all this, not us.
So I went in search of good role models myself, good people of the trans movement, people worthy of looking up to, worthy of respect, to get a measure of the kind of people I felt this “movement” needed, in order to persuade parents like me that there was some kind of hope, some value or meaning in what kids were diving into uncritically. 5 years later I’m still looking. Where are the good role models of the trans “movement”? I began my search in sincerity and good faith - but haven’t found any yet.
LGBTQ+/Queer/Trans orgs and captured institutions always talk about the need fore good role models in a young persons life. Within education however, queer teachers deserve an entire post all of their own - which is why none are featured here. But moving on…..
Are the brave social justice warriors and trans activists rational, compassionate and kind people? They expect everyone else to BeKind but the violence and death threat always seems to come from the same side - despite the trans “genocide” we’re constantly told is going on.
Michael here, like me, came up empty-handed IRL and online
Maybe there are good christian people who don’t believe Adam and Eve were nonbinary, gender, asexual, or panromantic?
This woman has written books and often appears all over the media in Canada. Is she/they/zem a good role model? What is a Munchausens Mom?
The UK’s first nonbinary priest. A good role model? I mean, Gender makes perfect sense to him, er I mean them/they so that must be alright then
Jamie Windust, Sam Smith, Alok Vaid-Menon? Any good? Are these sane and rational people, or are they mid-table cult influencers grifting for money, tour dates, and attention?
Blair, with his pink hair! Medics, trans-affirming Dr’s, surgeons like Blair Peters, good role models?
Ladies and Gentlemen…Jordan Gray. He goes into schools, so he must be OK right? Played the piano with his plonker I heard, seems to hate women. Is he the rights sort of trans role model?
Trans-identified ballerina Sophie Rebecca? How many girls has his graceful frame displaced? So Special is He, you don’t need theatre glasses to spot him a mile off.
Helen Webberley is up for an award, so she must be OK, sending out puberty blockers willy-nilly to all and sundry like the trans messiah she is
Susie Green of Mermaids, currently lying low (can’t think why) such a great role model. Mermaids is often the first place newbie parents go to in the UK, when their child manipulates them - all fuelled by the online grooming and this ongoing contagious psychic epidemic
Trans nb activist AND academic AND paedophile apologist, oh, and Paris Lees of course, a UK media darling - trying not to dine out on his criminal past but focus instead on constant marginalisation and what he feels like as a girl in a mans head
And finally the star of Trans Pride London 2023, Sarah Jane Baker, who stole the show and exposed the misogyny and violence of the cheering crowd supporting Trans Rights, and is now, thankfully, back in prison. Great role model! Go Sarah!
Never mind, I’ll keep looking
(Coming soon, how celebrities seal the deal)
I really wish I could tape Neddy, my crossdressing ex-husband, to a chair, tape his eyes open and make him recognize that he's part of this hall of horrors. And, oh yes, there's a paper out now at Qualitative Research in health (Pfeffer, et al) in which they claim that doctors are too "off-spring focused" with the pregnant women who don't want to stop taking the T. Despite that it is a known teratogen. Jennifer Lahl & Kallie Fell, of Center for Bio-Ethics and Culture, refute these claims, and I read part 1 with classic pithy comments and asides:
