Because parents are the first and strongest line of defense against unnecessary harmful medicalization, body hatred, and delusional thinking in their children, they must be demonized. This effectively "erases" them and their ideas (to use a favorite term of trans-activists), so they no longer have any power to protect their children. When anyone else speaks out, they too are demonized - hence, JK Rowling's books can be burned because she is evil personified. This is the most insidious set of ideas I personally have lived through, although, of course, there have been many more evil theories in the world (e.g. those that led to the Holocaust, slavery, etc.). When will people wake up and smell the coffee??!!
I wrote a letter to a local charity I used to support, instructing them to take me off of the list; their "pronouns" doctrine offends me, as a trans widow. Here's the clip where I read the brainwashed reply:
