I think the dads tend to bury their heads in the sand. I know my husband thinks it’s nonsense, will say so in private to me, but doesn’t like to talk too much about it. And he’s not the sort of guy to write a substack on ANYTHING, let alone a controversial topic that will draw lots of criticism, could alienate our daughter if she found out about it, and that he really doesn’t want to spend time thinking about because it makes him feel angry, uncomfortable, and helpless. I am glad you’re here writing but I think many of the dads are like my husband.

My husband exactly fits what you said, to a tee.

Thanks for your insight Dee, every day I question whether I should be doing this. I can't stop feeling so mad that the trans ideology pushers have corrupted and abused our daughter. I think it's the outright injustice of seeing these "special" people so lauded and cheered that drives me to encapsulate and contextualise what happened to us, and how it can happen to anyone. If I didn't have Denton I don't know what I'd do. My wife feels the same about it all and she is my rock, as I am hers

I don’t think you should question it. You are doing the right thing. The only thing keeping me sane is knowing there are others out here who feel the same way I do, that the world has gone mad, that it’s impossible to accept these nonsensical beliefs. Please don’t doubt yourself. I have to keep believing that at some point our kids will come to their senses

Thanks for what you do. I wish there were more dads that wrote about it too. I wish there were more gay men like me who would speak up. But it seems like men just have their heads in the sand. Thanks for that Gary, I'll check out your substack and probably about time I stated to get to grips with cross-posting. This might be a good way of extending our networks I think
