I have a problem with the hullaballoo made over the studies, including the Cass study. If people need these studies to convince them that cutting parts off kids and injecting them with hormones is bad, those adults are lost. I don't need a study to tell me that sticking my arm in a shredder is a bad idea any more than I need a study to tell me that the current crop of Mengeles are sociopaths experimenting on and damaging children.

What the heck are "female things" other than things owned by females? Am I to understand that make-up or certain types of clothing are "female things?" Gee, this sounds a wee bit like stereotypes, and seems to indicate that a boy who believes he is a girl is just a boy who might want to wear make-up or try on a skirt. And, if this boy isn't doing those things, are these people suggesting that he has to do those things to be "trans?" From the boy's comments, it seems that he may not even want to "grow his hair out," but just feels out of place in the world, and is hoping "trans" is the answer. I wish I could tell him, compassionately, that it's not!
