I sometimes have to catch my breath when I think of the scale of it all, embedded within (as you say) every are of public life. A cult, funded and facilitated by a global industry. I think that for a lot of it, people only see one aspect of it, whereas those like us who have - for whatever reason - been forced to see how it all joins up, it still shocks me. I'm still incredulous that more people can't see it yet
As I've said before, you are absolutely right that this is the new version of a cult. The biggest - most scary - difference between this cult and all others is that this cult is supported by every major societal group that ordinarily rejects cults and assists in helping families extricate their vulnerable young from those cults. Schools and universities, government (including our sweet President), the medical establishment (with many ethical objectors being ignored from within), mainstream media, large corporations, and our neighbors - all on-board. Making this the most powerful cult to ever infect our young and our vulnerable.
I saw it from the first faculty meeting on this back in 2015 -- the PRONOUN POWER bracelets and the PRIVILEGE chart. I felt like I was in the movie The Stepford Wives -- everyone robotically providing their pronouns and ranking their 'privilege.' But alas, yours truly -- the heretic -- said NO to the privilege chart and WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET are my pronouns. This must be stopped but honestly, if so many people could seem to take such an absurdity seriously, how on earth will this be stopped? It's one of the most gobsmacking phenomenons ever in the history of the earth!
