I'd forgotten that WPATH's Marci "Every single child who was blocked at tanner stage two has never experienced orgasm" Bowers was Jazz's doc. Just seen some awful updates about Jazz. Every parents path is so different, for sure. I genuinely feel sorry for the parents who never (or WILL never) get to see the truth behind this cult - until their own children sue them in the years to come
I needed this post. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. It seems things are changing over there, hope this ends with your family reunited very soon. Hope your daughter is starting to see the light at the end of thr tunnel.

Our daughter has invested far too much post-radicalisation for any kind of turnaround, she's professional trans now and it will likely take something catastrophic to affect any change, however small. We're kind of reconciled to that but equally, we never give up hope. But after (coming up to) 5 yrs estrangement, we can't stay in the same space any more so detaching by safe degrees has helped, but also so has recognising that another psychic bomb could blast through our lives at any point, who knows how many years ahead of us, if we survive long enough to experience it. There is no winning with this ideology. Even if we became one of the lucky ones and my son desisted today, I am forever changed by this.
