Thank you. I wish my husband would read this, but he is trapped in the woke, BeKind world, focusing on the us/them politics of it all, instead of seeing what’s happening to our beloved and very vulnerable son. I think transition is inevitable for him because of the forces pushing this — we’re in California, so I am focused what comes next for these young people. We know it will eventually hit them that this was a con job, but what then? What world will they wake up into and will they be able to survive the regret? Stemming the tide of parents rushing their kids to the gender clinic is crucial. Gender critical/skeptical has to become the kind/rational option in order for this to end.
I watched as my (now X) husband wrestle with being a man . . . so he decided he was a woman and tore my family apart. With the help of an on-line group I ran for several years, I realized that this "fairy-tale" trans people "live" was a psycological misplay in too many people's lives. It distroyed my marriage. And it hurt a lot of innocent people who cared about my husband. My "salvation" came through a group of women who came together with me and started a web-page to help others get through this. People who can't accept their birth-gender are sad, mixed-up people who need mental health, not operations that re-shape their bodies. YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR SEX and YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR "GENDER". That's just plain fairy-tail stuff.
Thank you for writing this. So appreciate it.
